Auridon Scrying help needed

I am doing the hunt for the Festival of Defiance token and have found 2 of the 3 codex.
The last blue area it is showing me on the map is above Ondil delve, and SE of Glister Vale.
One problem I seem to have is if I use the quick slot where I have the eye saved I only get an icon up in the compass.
If I use tools then E on the eye I get a blue sparkly trail to follow. So I keep using the tools and it helps me find the dig spot.
The last codex is the Reginus Buca and the blue trail goes right into the stone of a mountain. If I go to the other side of that rock cropping The trail shows it going into that side of the mountain.
I can't go up to see if the dig site is up on top.
This is the first real success I have had Scrying and hate to give up at this point.
I just don't know what to do at this point and am hoping someone has done this and can help me locate this last codex?

✭✭✭It's been a while since I last logged in to the game, but I recall that you can cancel a dig attempt, and then when you retry it, the location can change. Have you tried this?PC(Steam) / EU / play from Melbourne, Australia / avg ping 3900 -
LootAllTheStuff✭✭✭I've had something similar in other spots, such as with forts, where the dig site was inside the fort itself. And some have required finding a hidden path up to a small plateau of valley. Any sign of an entrance or path tucked behind an outcrop?0

✭✭✭Also check there is no cave below the marked area.
You can cancel that progress as mentioned above and re-scry, hopefully this will give you a different dig area. 🙂When people say to me........

That was it there was a hidden cave entrance I missed.1
