I like the video, but the music is weird. Doesn't fit this time.

That was my first reaction, too.
But later, I found myself whistling the tune (I'm a whistler rather than a hummer), and it dawned on my that they may have chosen the song because of the phrase "there is a season," which connects to the game switching to a season pass, as well as "the Season of the Worm Cult." I guess that's pretty obvious, but for some reason I didn't make that connection when I saw the video. And it's an old hit from the '60s, so it's got nostalgia appeal in addition to being an earworm.
So, is there any "Season" song that would be a good fit for ESO?

I'm wondering when it's finally going to dawn on more people. I mean, the ending of their other recent trailer basically said, "Play alone or with friends". Years ago Rich said in a few podcasts, that they changed the design and direction of the game with One Tamriel to be more 'Skyrim with friends' because that's what the majority wanted. Then people still wonder who the demographic is that they added hybridization and now subclassing for? I mean, it's pretty obvious IMO, and has been for years. I guess I'm just one of those who refuse to remain in denial of the overwhelming evidence.

If khajiit wasn't already here he certainly wouldn't show up based on -that-, it is known.
But even more to the point, are they wanting players to buy the new "season"/chapter to simply lull about at some summer solstice resort while the worm cult and daedra are invading it? How is playing with a pet (that can't even be played with in game) supposed to say anything about the new season... Or even the game itself? It is very badly designed. My main concern is that the trailer misrepresents a lot of things in the game. Some things simply can't happen, like two non-combat pets interacting, or someone picking up their pet and stroking it. Others are mementoes and emotes carefully timed to look like actual activities. The volleyball is an obvious one - sure you can toss a ball about and then throw it towards your friends...but then it disappears in mid-air and other players can't interact with it in any way. Anyone who buys the game expecting to actually do the type of activities here is going to be disappointed.
